Yogadog Holiday Updates

Happy Holidays…what a winter wonderland! I’m sad to see the snow go, but walking our dogs has been a challenge and Christmas day will be much easier to navigate if no-one gets snowed in or blacked out. The New Year is just around the corner and here is what’s up on the calendar for January!

Jan. 3rd, Hatha for Hounds in New Westminster: level two obedience, held at Bosley’s at 6:30 on Tuesday nights. We will be focussing on loose leash walking, heeling, polite greetings and the 12 criteria that are the basis of the Canine Good Neighbour
test.
Jan. 7th, Hatha for Hounds in North Burnaby: level two obedience held at Pup Culture and runs six weeks on Saturdays at noon. Also based on the criteria listed above. The classes at both locations are both $150 for six sessions.
Jan. 7th, Advance Obedience: this Advanced Ashtanga class is being held at one on Saturdays, at Pup Culture in North Burnaby. It works on better obedience and heeling. This class is for those of you who want to take it to a higher level. We will cover how to get off treats and also how to use play as a reward. Also $150 for
a set of six classes.
Canine Kundalini: the indoor class for hyper or reactive dogs in the New Year!
Please let me know if you are interested! This class will focus on impulse control, reactivity, management of aggression and desensitization vs. counter conditioning. I will limit it to six dogs. It’s a six week course it is $150 held for one hour on Saturdays at Pup Culture in North Burnaby. I’m still deciding on a time in the afternoon, but likely 2:30 after the advanced obedience class ends.
Jan. 8th, Agility: Three levels beginning again at Pup Culture! Sundays at noon for beginners, 1:15 for those who are continuing from the beginner class or have been out of the loop for a bit and 2:30 for the advanced class. All classes are $150 for six weeks. It is a great class for working off leash with your pup on cold and rainy
days!
Wishing you a warm, happy, safe and doggy holiday season!!!
